Constructed in the 14th century, the Guildhall is one of the
city's finest medieval structures, and the oldest domestic
building in Leicester.

It became
the first seat of local government power in Leicester; including
the police station and (functioning) jail.
The town library was transferred from the St. Martin's Church
to the Guildhall in 1632. It is the 3rd oldest library in the
country.

Conference
Dinner is being held in the National Space Centre - Wed 12th
June |

We are holding
the conference dinner in the John Eggleston Suite at the National
Space Centre
The Space Centre is the UK's largest attraction dedicated
to space science and astronomy.

Prior
to Dinner we will have a talk, by the technical director Andrew
Gregory, and a complete show in the 'amazing' Space Theatre.
The theatre consists of a full 360 degree audio and visual planetarium
dome, incorporating a variety of different projection devices.
This is one of the centrepieces at the Space Centre.
Travel will be
either by coach, or if the weather is pleasant, a 40-50 min
walk along the refurbished canal, past Abbey Park; with guides
